Default Army Air Corps

Hi,
A few lines of introduction first. I have been a British medal collector for many years and whilst collecting medals I have picked up a number of badges along the way and formed a small collection.
I have a couple of books which have helped me indentify most of the badges but I’m having problems with the attached image. At first glance it looks to be an Army Air Corps but the eagle has horizontal out stretched wing and the head turns to the left. The badge is AA with a Queen’s Crown. There are no makers details on the reverse. The badge is sized 60mm across x 50mm and fitted with two lugs.
Any help appreciated.
Many thanks.
Regards
Andrew
