Brass and enamel badge. With 4 bombs in blue. MOR ET Destruction. Makers name. American Metal Crafts Co. Attledor Mass. Can any member give me some information. Thank you. Lyn.

A check on the makers name and address (it's Attleboro) and a lucky guess brought me to this badge , is it the one you have ?

It is an American DUI (Distinguishing Unit Insignia, or DI's for short) for a bomb unit it the USAAC. It has all the makings. I did collect DI's but have since sold off my collection and my reference book, but still feel certina that's what it is. They were worn on the lapel of the tunic. You can see them on a uniform here for a paratrooper one, but all branches of he army wore hemin he same place. I have one of my fathers.
