Hi all
need some info on a Australian Munitions Workers badge No 3043 . Any way of researching said badge ?? Thanks Rob |

Does the National Archives of Australia have any records?

They seem to have a lot of records there for individual Munitions Workers.

Found your man! Assuming of course that the badge number is the same as the munitions worker number as shown below.

Found a site about WW1 Australian Munitions Workers that also lists badge numbers and it confirms :
WILLIAMSON James Thomas 3043 https://australianmunitionsworkersww...-wilson-a.html I don't know anout Australian issued badges but in the U.K the number on the badge was the workers number and they were issued with a certificate bearing that number. Victoria Museums only states : Quote:
