Some years ago I worked with Sheffield University OTC, there was a bursary student there who was sponsored by The Parachute Regiment, he wore the Sheffield UOTC badge on a maroon beret. Most things, it appears, are possible, however unlikely they might be. At the same time (it was circa 1992/93) a Sgt serving with the OTC in an admin capacity was still wearing the cap badge of the York and Lancaster Regiment…strange things happen at OTCs !
