Default Odd King's Own OSD

Looks like a repair or modification, it looks as though lead based solder has been used to attach the slider.

I think you are correct here. It looks to be an old modification at any rate. I don't see any remains of the expected blades however.

I agree, you would expect to see at least a bit of scarring where the blades were originally attached.

That is over thirteen quid, if I was going to buy a ranker's cap badge to that regiment I would certainly want an example it's original condition for that sort of money.

Of course, yes it is overpriced for what it is. What threw me for a loop is the bronze finish. It does not appear to be patination.
