Hi Pete,

This is the South African 451 Parachute Battalion which was 5 Recce prior to 1993. They continued the tradition of using the Rhodesian Selous Scouts parachute wing on their insignia for a while.

Nice patch!! I haven't seen one like that , always nice to see new
S.A. insignia, have to ask...is it for sale

For general info. This patch is completely unofficial and was intended to be worn on a baseball cap etc. There are a number of them floating around.

I think, if it is the actual wing that you like, you would be much better off collecting good original Selous Scouts bits.
