Default ID please - Canadian, c. 1911

The attached photo was sent to me with a request to confirm if the collar badges were for The Royal Canadian Regiment. But the date is too late for the early "star" collars of The RCR, by 1911 the Regiment was only wearing the beaver collars.

What I can confirm: Canadian, about 1911, probably in Quebec

My first impression was Service Corps, but I'm not sure for the period.

Any help to confirm these collars badges would be appreciated.

Mike, I think you have the correct identification. The CASC had badges of that pattern authorized as early as 1903, so the id fits well with a 1911 date.
