Default "44" PATCH / PARACHUTE REGIMENT?

Can any Forum member help to identify the cloth "44" patch illustrated below. I obtained it today along with the two "wings".

Kind regards, Malcolm.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for the reply.

I obtained these today from a chap who said he was given them by his father during the 1960s. He had no knowledge or interest in militaria. There were also several other items of cloth insignia including German which I did not buy. To me all items looked to be original, although I stand to be corrected! I personally believe what I was told. If they are copies, then they are not recent.

Kind regards, Malcolm.

In my opinion they are all contemporary items - and yes, 44 Indep Para Bde (TA) to be precise.
