Ref the photo captioned: Troopers of The Fort Garry Horse at Aldershot, England, 27 November 1941
It's a nice shot of the soldiers wearing the metal shoulder title on battledress. Phil

Another mis-captioned is the photo of B Sqn, according to Mark W.Tonner on another website, this photo would have been taken in England, in either 1942 or 1943. By October 1943 the regiment was equipped with the Sherman.

The photo shows (l to r) a Corporal, a Sgt. and a L/Cpl. The Sgt. in the middle I can identify. It is Sgt. Cyril Langlois, he later became the RSM of the 1CACR.

Roy, I hope it wasn't my caption correction posting that made you pull your photos?! If it was, I am sorry, no offence meant. Here's to hoping you repost you beret photos at the very least and look forward to seeing more posts.
(Here's to hoping we can get more Canadians posting in general!, The forum has been a little slow on the Canadian side these days)
