Default Unknown enamel badge

I have seen an enamel badge consisting of the word "BRITISH" over 1914 /1918 and "LESMA" below enclosed in a wreath.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Rob

Default LESMA badge

Thanks chaps for the information, with the amount of limbless from the Great War I would have thought these more common.

Hi Rob,

I could dig mine out of you want to but I think the 1914-1918 version has a green coloured enamel.

There's the later BLESMA badge that is chromed and with blue (and white?) enamel.

Way back before the 'net came galloping along, I wrote to the BLESMA and they replied with a charming letter and some information.

I've seen 1914-18 badges in green enamel.
