Oriskany: Scroll up to Old Smelly's wyv2 image - five examples there; three worn and a mint pair.

The printed examples at the bottom of this picture are reputed to be the first pattern of printed badge but I have yet to see the evidence to prove this.
My current assumption unless someone is going to correct me is that there are three patterns of printed Wyverns. |

Wessex Wyvern
After seeing all the examples of the different Wyverns in the previous examples I wondered why I didnt have a painted version or one with red or blue claws etc. As you may have seen I went to a local auction and bought amongst other badges a painted Wyvern and blow me that night on ebay was a Wyvern with red bits, which I bid on and bought.Very strange how these things come about, John.

Another over-woven printed badge which seems like quite a common practice.

Is the material quite stiff on this badge like mine?
