Smile Introduction of Gotavapen

Hello everybody. My name is Olof and I’m collecting Militaria of many types.
I run a website about Militaria
http://gotavapen.se/index_english.htm
and a forum about Military Knives and daggers of the World
http://gotavapen.se/market/

I started collecting badges as a spin off from collecting Fairbairn-Sykes Commando knives. I never planned to get more than a badge or two but I found it very interesting so increased. I bought Peter Taylor’s nice book “Allied Special Forces insignia 1939-1948” and I was stuck! I hope to learn more with the help of this forum.
See you soon on the forum.

Hello Olof my old friend,

Wonderful to see you on this forum, no surprise that you found your way here, many good people with a wealth of knowledge and an eagerness to share.

For those who don't know Olof, he has been a close friend of mine for many years and is an expert in many areas of military. As many of you who know me, know that my main area of collecting aside from insignia is the F-S knives, Olof runs the finest forum on this topic and also has an excellent website, in fact it was the inspiration for starting my own.

A heartfelt welcome my friend.

Warmest regards, Roy.
