Thanks a lot for that, I did not realise my Grandfather Leonard was also a wheelwright/coachbuilder, as far as I knew he worked as a chauffer, but before he learned to drive he did other things and probably worked with his Father.

He always had a good eye for woodworking and I always wondered where he learned that, now I know . . !

William listed as a schoolboy later worked on a farm until 1918 when he joined The Buffs. He died 23rd October 1918 due to wounds, I have his certificate and death plaque.
