Canadian Parachute Corps cap badge
Pictures of my Para Badge with "Ellis Lugs". The bent one still open enough to receive the "cotter pin"( which I have also ) -May have been damaged while attached .Badge shows all the little marks attributed to original. Any info out there on the company -McKenzie-Clay , that may have produced this version. ? Thanks !

The company was in Winnipeg and made badges for some Cdn units during the Second WW.

The flat stamped lugs were typical of Mackenzie-Clay. They used that type throughout the war.

The Canadian Parachute Corps trained at Camp Shilo which was two hours west of MacKenzie-Clay’s (M-C) location. I would think that it is possible that cap badges were purchased from M-C given their close proximity to the unit.
