Default Dental corps FS cap

Hello again! Too many months out of order! Hope you are well, healthy and enjoying holidays!
Just to show you my last adquisition...I think it is a Dental corps FS cap...I don't know the era, but It is prior 1956 because the buttons (kings crown)...has no badge (never wore...no signs of have attached a badge)...unfortunately, moth bites, but no holes...Hope you like It!

Very nice. My father served in the AD Corps/RADC from 1940 to the mid 1950s but he never wore on of these. Are the buttons on the cap the simple ADC design or the Dragon and sword?

I just have seen your álbum and the FS cap you show there (really nice!)
So FS cap badges were metal for DCA and bullion for RADC! I did not know!...well I don't know if mine is DCA or RADC, so I am not sure what badge is more correct...but now I know that the size It must be the collar size, not the cap size (by the way...I Saw your kakhi visor cap...just amazing!)...thanks for the info! I really apreciate!

Also have A D C Officers side cap with gilt collar also number of head dress not shown
Away at present so don’t have my notes but never seen bullion mess dress A D C As far as I remember bullion not common/used until 1960’s
I do have a bullion Officers cap as in album -the only one that I have seen in nearly 50 years

But if the RADC dragon badge was introduced in 1946 (or 1948?) and the bullion appears in 1960, from 1946 to 1960 the badge was metal as the WWII ADC...right?
