Default Ruskin Badge Frames

These old 'Ruskin' photo frames with integral regimental badges are nice items. An insert bearing the company's logo and a little ad stating that 'Crest of almost and English or Colonial Regiment' [sic] can be supplied, doubles up as the photo mount. Nice collectible objects in their own right.

Do other members have examples of these?

With thanks,

JT

Nice one. Be good to see a pic if you get the chance at some point, Andy.

There's an RA example on eBay at the moment (I have no connection with the seller, by the way).

Cheers,

JT

Is te one on ebay "right"?

The Royal Artillery badge is not an integral part of the frame, and the slider seems to be too long for the frame to stand up.

Ruskin could have made frames with a slot for the buyer to add their own badge?

Yeah you’re right. I hadn’t noticed that.

We're these badges produced by the company. Or original cap badges attached to the frames ?
