Default Sticks and Stones ...

My wife just came in and said "you know what you are ... a phalaristician!"

I had to look up phaleristics.

She was being complementary.

Compliments of Wikipedia:

Phaleristics, from the Greek mythological hero Phalerus (Greek: Φάληρος, Phaleros) via the Latin phalera ('heroics'), sometimes spelled faleristics, is an auxiliary science of history and numismatics which studies orders, fraternities, and award items, such as medals, ribbons, and other decorations.

My Wife tells me to look up the definition of "addiction"!

Cheers,

Walt

If she was shouting, I think you'll find that the word was actually "philanderist"?

My good lady is Romanian. My collecting is only slightly less mysterious to her than my love of cricket and having the cricket on the radio with the TV on silent.
