Hi Lily

Always happy to share my opinions. Just think that if it is WW1, it's at least 100 years old anyway!

If sweethearts are your "thing", feel free to PM me and I may have a couple lurking around here. I collect lapel badges for ex-services assocs (BL, etc.) and also on war service badges.

The sweethearts that I do have, have really come my way with other stuff. I'm sure that I've got at least one "white face" badge but can't recall the regt.

Thank you, I have a few sweethearts and have been predominantly buying RAF recently, but when it comes to what is my area of collection I'm a bit eclectic at the moment, last purchase on Monday was a white metal RAF cap badge and a 17/21st Lancers ST. But generally I like my fusilier bits n bobs, GG and nice mucky blackened badges. I can normally find something to spend a few quid on!

OK, got some idea then. I was traded a Boer War era h/m GG sweetheart some years ago. Sound like you? Just a matter of putting my hand on it....
