dog tags??
These came to me quite some time ago purporting to be Canadian dog tags.
I am not familiar with authenticity of dag tags and googling seems to mix the good with the trash. I am wondering if they are fashion charms or whatever else they are called, or else modern authentic tags. If the latter, then why would the plastic tag be left void? Comments welcome GTB |

Dog Tags
They are American. Canadian ID Discs were fibre up to the end of WWII and then switched to stainless steel. See link to Milart article.

Thanks for input.
Can accept they are American. The question is 'are they authentic?' GTB |

Google
Try 'Googling' US Army Dog Tags, there loads of information on them.
