Just been looking at my women forces insignia for the 1st time in approx 10 yrs This may be of interest to some members
I have mechanized transport training corps pinned back as 1st issue
Mechanized transport corps pinned later issue
In with my sweetheart broaches was a small badge approx 1/2 inches by J.R Gaunt london on closer inspection this read AMCTM which i found out to be Axillary member mechanized transport corps .This was issued to young girls not old enough to train as drivers ,but learnt how to maintain vehicles in there spare time A scarce item???

Hi Jerry as other member know not very good with computers ,my efforts to load photos end up in space But if you wish to see an example this item goggle mechanized transport training corps - 5th heading says war relic forum same as my item
