NWVS badge
I would welcome a positive i.d. for this blue & white enamelled lapel badge. Sadly, it is worse for wear with a substantial loss of enamel.
The stumbling block is the 'W', which could signify any of several contenders: Wives, Wireless, Workers, etc. Personally, I'd go for 'Naval Wives Voluntary Service' but that is only a guess. It may be of assistance that it has a brooch fitting, and not a buttonhole. Maker is Fattorini & Sons Ld, 36 Barr St, B'ham (1958 address) GTB
