Default Welch Regiment- brand new !

Just acquired this badge which at first glance I thought was a restrike but on closer inspection it has some good points like the blow hole.

A mint example or a better quality dud ?

All comments appreciated.

I think it is a perfectly good badge. I have a Bays badge that I recently received from a lot which at first looked bad, but it is just unused as first made from the die.

I think just a mint example and therefore quite a good find.
