Default 3 Suffolk Badges

Hi All,

I have three Suffolk badges (pic A), all with similar 3-turret castle designs, none of which look particularly like KK604 or 605, but at least seem similar to Gaylor's Plate 10, although his image isn't particularly clear.

Badge 1 (pics B & C) is about 10% smaller than the other two and is bowed rather than flat. It appears to have sweat holes on the back.

Badge 2 (pics D, E & F) has a a wreath that very nearly touches the crown and there are no voids between the crown and the wreath. The slider is marked J.R. GAUNT LONDON and is 15mm long. There could be a dot between GAUNT and LONDON but it could also be a scratch.

Badge 3 (pics G & H) has no voids between the castle turrets and the back is interestingly flat around the scroll and not at all crisp elsewhere.

Are any of these genuine or have I ended up with the Three Stooges?

Thanks,

Tom

Cool Suffolk badges

The amount of fake Suffolk Regt badges appearing online for sale is amazing, not a scarce badge by any means and if anyone wants one I can recommend Suffolk Coin and Jewellery centre in Bury St Edmunds, last time I visited there were several original badges in stock.
