Perfectly fine, post war pattern sometimes known as the “Malaya” pattern. Phased out circa 1958 when the Brigade pattern badges were introduced

That pattern was reintroduced and worn again briefly circa 1969-71 when the Yorkshire Brigade cap badge was taken down and pending the design and issue of the XIX badge.
