Default Welsh Dragon "Boss badge" missing it's "Boss" & Fixings

Hi all, have this Silver Welsh Dragon looks like it has lost it's fixings along with its Boss, the Boss itself has anyone a spare perhaps? The badge I could sew back onto the Boss? but any other suggestions welcome? It's a lovely little item in it's own right and would like to put it to rights!

All the best billy

Don't know I'm just wondering if that's what it is - Toby P will probably know.

Certainlly looks to be from the standard grenade badge worn on both FSCs & side caps.

Here you are Billy, I thought I had a Boss badge. I’ll get some close ups for you later to compare sizes & shapes etc.

That's a lot of nice badges in there, Carmarthenshire "VTC" looks nice!

Billy,
I’ve pulled out the relevant badges & checked the measurements as best I can given they’re bent to shape. As far as I can tell the boss badge (approx20mm) is slightly larger than the grenade cap badges (approx19mm), it is difficult to be certain because it is more of a domed shape.
What I can say is that the dragon on the collar badges is definitely larger (approx 20.7mm). Curiously I note that it is a dragon on this militia officer’s example when the regulars would have been wearing griffons at that time.
Hwyl,
Kevin

One that arrived a few days ago, affixed to an issue beret - the beret is stamped with a contract code indicating that it was manufacture around 1988.

there were two patterns of boss badge on ebay recently, one each of the earlier and later pattern beast, plus one of the cap/collar badges, I did not bid enough to win them.
