Default Monty Python?

Reminds me a bit of that Monty Python sketch were Ms Ann Elk states her theory about dinosaurs... and says... "It is my theory, all mine, nobody else's but mine; I thought of it and therefore it is mine. All other theories are wrong because mine is right and that's because it is mine" !!

If this is the Kindergarten juvenile mentality of members on this Forum when dealing with an intelligent subject, then God help us !

I left cretins like this behind me at primary school.

Tip : - If you have nothing sensible to say about military badges, then go join an old Fanny`s chat club.

AND, before I get nasty remarks about my reaction by Mods or anybody else to this imbecilic attitude displayed by two members so far without any provocation - YOU started it, NOT me !!

Before you uneducated morons start casting abuse around, don`t forget chumbo`s that MY opinion is just as good as your`s or anybody else`s and what is more the explanatory dialogue is logical and educated. Obviously beyond your mental ability.

If you disagree with my views, then combat them with intelligence not ignorant gutter comments, THAT only displays your inability to conduct a civilized discussion. I don`t except your horse brass crap and have explained why. If you disagree, then prove me wrong, don`t just descend into a bar room cretin.

I do not believe it ?

However, the dialogue does bear a familiar similarity, doesn't it ??

Dave.

This did it for me:

'the explanatory dialogue is logical and educated. Obviously beyond your mental ability.'

But 'chumbo', does it too.

Members of the Forum treated this thread with their usual polite and helpful manner until it became rather obvious that we were being fed some John BULL sh---e.

If we are all right in our assumption that this person originates from Sutton in Ashfield,Nottinhamshire and more recently has been based in the North East,it does make one wonder why a person who seems to hold the Forum in such distain should want to keep on coming back under different user names when he obviously is no longer welcome. Is that part of the attraction ?

I am a keen fan of the Forum and believe that threads should not degenerate into personal insults and that we should stick to discussing militaria and military history.I have said this many times on the Forum.

I am willing to make an exception in this case and to say that we Scousers have a well known saying which seems appropriate in this rather bizzare situation, two words, the first with four letters begining with "F" and the second, three letters begining with "O".

Peter ! really !!

This is not like you ! so do not be dragged down to that level !!

I din't mind though, a two word expression, very well known, beginning with the letter ' F' and ending in double ' F '.

Dave.

"My opinion has already been stated, this badge IS a genuine Glengarry badge worn by the Monmouth and Brecknock volunteer battalions of the 1881 - 1908 SWB, or possibly by some other Welsh volunteer or Militia formations.

I will not accept the horse brass or reproductive market for duping collectors as an answer."

Well we have your well reasoned opinion in the face of all others then. I'll change all my records to accord with your "superb research".
