Default 17th Lancers Motto

I'd like to add a WW2 or earlier 17th Lancers Motto to my collection, but keeping track of all the nuances has been really challenging for me.

Is the Motto below original and, if so, what era?

Thanks

All you ever wanted to know about motto variants. Match your badge to one of these and you should get a date.

That is a confirmed WW2 other ranks example.... sometimes found with its accompanying slide clip.

Evening,

My first post here been trawling through all of the threads on 17/22 mottos to assist in me picking up a WW2 example. Having waited and searched high and low I think I’ve picked up and example the same as the two above. These aren’t the best pics and have come from the seller - is this a solid WW2 example ?

Apologies to resurrect an old thread - it just seemed appropriate due to the last 2 post pics.

Thank you,
