16th Queens Lancers KC
Spotted this badge on ebay but im not sure if this is a made up badge which has had the QVC crown replaced with a KC as the crown looks to have a different patina, here is my example notice there is no gap between the crown and Lances, opinions please.
Cheers Malc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3708248719...84.m1431.l2649

My KC "Queens Lancers" cap badge also doesn't have a gap and neither do the KC "Queens Lancers" collars. I don't have a KC "Queens Lancers" cap badge - but I am sure someone will. Unless you can find signs of the previous 4 lugs..... The crown itself may be a replacement - although you would have to be extremely heavy handed to remove it without damaging the lances/pennants etc. Good luck, David Last edited by wright241; 03-06-13 at 11:40 AM. Malc,
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have tis badge and was hoping that someone could tell me what I have. It is not BM, but seems to be silver plated or the like. Is this a cap or a collar and when was it worn? Kind regards, Andy Last edited by Nozzer; 17-02-18 at 10:24 PM. |

Your badge looks like it was ment to be an officers bronze which has been altered,i have a similar one with a Gaunt plaque under the slider,it was not bronzed and may have been used as an economy.Nice badge Post 1905 as it has "The" in the title. Malc
