Default Unusual Airborne Title

Has anyone ever come across one of the attached shoulder titles before please? It appears to be a full sized British WWII title. It's vintage, the embroidery is a little untidy, but not a complete mess, and, if held up to the light, there are regular holes about 3mm from the edge. These are fairly widely spaced indicating that it was sewn on by hand. Is it a fantasy item, sewn on an old handkerchief and created to deceive, or does it have a basis in reality? I don't recall ever seeing another one.

Many thanks for any light anyone can shed,

Graham

A new one on me, though I wouldn't buy it.

The bundle of heavy thread on the back would concern me, so not one I would want.

The colours are not even close to maroon or Cambridge blue and the fabric is not appropriate for an embroidered badge so it is not something that I would buy.

I don’t like the thread jumble on the back and I too think it’s probably a fake. However, one very faint possibility is it could be something to do with the Military Police, as it’s in their colours.......
