Default Military Photo Restoration

I have seen many posts on this forum, where members have shown photos looking for ids on badges, and many members have photos to go with there badge displays

So thought i would do a post about recent photo restotation work i had done, on several photos, and hopefully some forum members will find this information useful, if anyone had that special photo they wanted restored, this is the lady to deal with highly professional and top quality work,

Besides the photo restoration work she done for me, she even made me photos of jpeg images i provided and managed to clean them up and photo print them.

I have several photos of my grandfather who served in North Africa and Italy during WW2, but always loved this particular photo, as it shows the AA cloth shoulder title, as he served in the SA permanent force for 10 years with the heavy artillery, before the outbreak of the war, as a layer bombardier, and then joined the SA Volunteers for service outside of SA.

I always wanted this particular photo restored for when i framed his 7 Medals,

I came across Sharon in Dublin who specialises in this field and does alot of work for people all over the world and also musuems, i have added a link of her you tube video, its good to watch how these photos can be restored.

Also she resizes them how ever you want and the prints are of hgh quality,

Thanks guys for the reply,

Also here is a photo of my great grandfather, which i also have many, but stumbled across this photo online linked on a geanology site about 10 years ago, and i sent several emails to the person, asking is there anyway i could get a copy, but never got a reply,

I wanted this photo as my great grandfather fought in the boer war, then during ww1 served in GSWA and signed up again for East Africa with the SA Horse,

Then he served during ww2 with the essential services protection corps (SA Home Guard) and was the oldest member on record to serve, and even served another 2 years after the war, so was keen to get this as it shows him in Uniform during ww2, with his ww1 ribbons

It was a blurry image i downloaded, from the ancestrel site and also had this lady clean it up, as best as possible and print it as a photo

Fantastic Result on your photo Andy.

It is great to see these images saved and preserved. Thanks for sharing it and for the link.
