Default Button and whistle - No bells...... Help please.

Hello all.

It has been a while since I have visited but you guys and gals have been superbly helpful in the past.

Some may recall that I am a metal detectorist down in sunny West Cornwall and occasionally find military items. Well, recently I dug a few buttons and a whistle on a large farm with good, flat fields. I wondered if local volunteer regiments or battalions had trained here. Anyway, the two volunteer artillery buttons are obvious and not uncommon but I am struggling to identify a gilt Jennens button with the French horn and number two in the centre...... The whistle came out on the same day and has T.V? stamped on it..... I again wondered if it was military issue.

Any assistance would, as always, be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance for looking,

Benjum.
