Default 1st Essex Artillery Volunteers

Sharing a recent pick up. 1st Essex Artillery Volunteers, other rank helmet plate.

Adopted 1880 with consolidation of the former separate Volunteer Corps units.

Already one of my favourites, I think these look stunning in white metal.

Smile 1st Essex Artillery Volunteers

An absolute cracker of a badge, I have one and it's a favourite of mine, but I'm biased as I'm from Essex, great find . . !
