RMA uniform complete at last
Hi Guys,
Well I finally completed my RMA uniform. Took some time to get the last piece which were the trousers. Managed to get a 1916 dated pair in lovely condition. Can anyone give we details of any differences in a RMA four pocket blue tunic from pre 1923 and post 1923-1952? I presume the buttons would have been RMA instead of just RM? Also flaming bomb instead of globe and laurel. One last question. Does anyone know if they used a shoulder title (RMA)? Regards Irv PS Ever thought it might be getting out of control! |

I would presume that the blue uniform would have had the same shoulder title as the field service uniform = RMA, which is a straight inline title. If searching for a pair, do not confuse it for the Royal Malta Artillery title, which is curved upwards. You may have difficulty finding a complete set of RMA buttons regarding a matched set. Good Luck in your search. D.J.
