Duke of Lancaster's Regiment badge.
From a thread of BBC News on the forming of the new regiment on 30 June 2006.

Voltigeur,
Interestingly a very similar picture appeared in the very last issue of "The Kingsman 2005-6" the magazine of the Kings Regiment. I also noticed a lot of The Duke of Lancasters Regiment headress ( I think it was three items- full dress cap, beret and side cap but not all had badges on them ) on E bay which finished on Friday. I also posted on another thread (and will post again because I like the picture ) a member of what is left of the Liverpool Scottish wearing the "Dukes" badge in the TOS with forbes tartan backing and blue Camerons hackle. Peter

Hi Peter, this a very personal comment. This guy wearing a "plastic" badge is not looking warrior-like. Oh, the good old days of big metal badges........
