Default Super Wednesday

The forum size limit probably won’t do these justice but delighted with these arriving today.

A few of those Scottish badges I’d never seen a genuine example of before. The collection they were from must’ve been quite something.

All are in wonderful condition so I presume put together long ago not too long after they were made.

If anyone wants some close ups just ask.

Well done, that man.

Would appreciate a couple of nice back & front shots of the QWR, if possible, Luke?

Cheers.

Excellent!

Still one or two Woodwards left for me to acquire, the LRB being one, as you know.

Nice find, Luke. Thanks for posting.

Lovely Woodward LRB there Luke, I've had this one ages which I thought might be an unmarked Woodward badge. I can see similarities with yours so I'd be interested to hear what you think, JT too.

Thanks very much Wilf, yes it’s an unmarked Woodward LRB you have there. Seems a very low % of these were marked, mine is only the second I’d ever seen.

Until mine appeared beginning of the week thanks to Colin at Steady The Buffs I had been sorely tempted to buy this one on eBay for some time as it’s a fine example with textbook Woodward slider:

No connection to the seller.

Certainly looks to be the classic Woodward slider, Wilf. Nice find.

I have only ever seen 4/5/6/7 Bns Black Watch TF with Spelling Lacessit like the one you picture Luke - never seen Lacesset as mentioned in K and K (KK1736) - HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN A LACESSET?
Any comment appreciated - Mike
