Horn badge - Huntingdonshire but what ?

I wonder if anyone can help me with this badge ?
I believe that the Horn with the knot above is the old Huntingdonshire badge but there is no other marking to indicate what the badge was issued for.
It is clean and possibly a light bronze metal, no makers mark. Measures 45mm across and down, weight 17g. The clip almost reminds me of the old fashioned tie clip ?
Any ideas ?

I can't quite see why this is linked to Huntingdonshire, the bugle was used by many military units.

Good afternoon Rob and thanks for the reply.
From Google searching I believe that this was an old Huntingdonshire emblem but I am quite willing to accept that I could be mistaken.
I simply cannot find this bugle/horn badge anywhere without any indication of use/origin. All I have found have a regiment/area/unit name attached.

Google Light Infantry badge for multiple similar examples of the bugle horn on badges.

That said I dont recognise your badge, but cetainly not connected to Huntingdonshire in a military sense.

The Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry wore a similar strung bugle although Light Infantry as Simon said used the bugle in various aspects.

Hi Brian - I saw that lot on the Friday viewing and whilst I'm fairly new to collecting, I couldn't for the life of me work out what it was or find anything similar on Google. I did wonder if the 'H' mark on the back could help identify it but found nothing online. I hope you manage to get to the bottom of this mystery though!

A collar badge for The Queen's Own Light Infantry, (Tower Hamlets Militia).

I don't believe/know/not sure/never heard of any reference to them wearing collars but based on the following, it's a suggestion only.

Shako badge for 6th Tower Hamlets Rifle Volunteers, note the style of rays of the star, the same as the badge , subject of the thread.

Glengarry badge for The Queen's Own Light Infantry, (Tower Hamlets Militia),
note the same style horn and ribbon, although this style and knot is a fairly generic style.

However, put the two together and you may have the subject badge.

Long shot, as I say, but never say never, as they say............whoever they are.

The Huntingdonshire Regiment were the old XXXI (31st of Foot), once called the ‘Young Buffs’. They amalgated with the 70th Foot (which started life as the 2/31st) to form the East Surreys in 1881.
