Default Ardingley CCF (Anodised) Reverse Side Number Engraving

Hi Guys,

Here is one that Mike H put my way.

On the rear of my anodised Ardingley CCF badge I have the number 201 engraved twice.

I think Mikes was 14.

Does anyone know what these numbers are for and were they done at the factory?

Regards

Chris

Chris,
Yep, mine has a scratched on number at the rear too. I was told once that this was done at the school on issuing, no idea if this is correct at all. Any Ardingley 'old boys' out there could shed the light.

Regards

Bess

That would be my guess as well. The School CCF QM must have been a right stickler!
