Default Egyptian badges?

Dear All,

Some badges I found. Could you please confirm that they are all Egyptian? And if they could illustrate a 1973 war display?

Many thanks.

A

Yes, they are all Egyptian, but not all would suit a 1973 display, the Hawk of Quarish badge (wider open wing) is 72-84, the Eagle of Saladin is 84 onwards.

Most of the other badges are that period although I’ve not seen the 4 enamel geared badges on the bottom row before.

Nice find.

That’s a nice grouping you have, the badges with crescent and three stars are pre-1952 revolution, the collar rank, I think red line is a colonel.

Nice collection, however in case you aren't aware the badge I've circled is Pakistan Military Police.

All the best

Graham
