Can anyone identify the cap badges in this image, taken from an article about Lord Haw Haw in Saturdays Mirror.
Cheers Tony.

The man on the left - East Lancs Regt cap and collar badges?
The man on the right a Royal Welch Fusilier grenade? Looks a bit large for that but no tartan backing patch if Royal Scots Fusiliers.

Just guessing, my first thought was that they may not be British.

The original photograph is in the IWM and was taken by Sergeant Bert Hardy (No. 5 Army Film and Photo Section, Army Film and Photographic Unit) on 29/05/1945 , photograph was taken at Second Army Headquarters, en route to Lüneburg military hospital.

Found a better/clearer copy , the original was in black and white.

The best I was coming up with was "could've Belgian?"
I hadn't thought of DLOY - is the badge shown wide enough?
