Default SHOULDER TITLES

Hello, I have just added the attached titles to my ever growing collection and I wonder if you could confirm "What & Where" please?
PALESTINE -white on blue - Was this worn by the ATS?
T.A.E.R. -yellow on black - Would Royal Engineer units have worn this?
GT.BRITAIN -red on black & GREAT BRITAIN -red on brown - Who would have worn these?
As ever I look forward to your replies.
Thank you,
Jerry

Just my quick obs Jerry, so might not be correct
1. Palestine worn by the Palestine Regiment, often seen worn in photos by Jewish soldiers.
2. TAER is an odd one which I am sure you will get lots of pics of it being worn but the only pic I have ever seen was of some one in DCLI, never seen a photo of any sappers wearing it.
3. Great Britain I think was worn by UK personnel training in US and Canada, but again I'm sure we will get some positive answers
Cheers
SEan

The Palestine title in those colours has been around since the 1960s when I bought mine but has never been positively attributed.

The attached photo which seems to show one being worn by the left hand soldier appeared in a recent issue of The Formation Sign.

Legislation in 1962 created the Territorial Army Emergency Reserve (TAER), whose volunteers, known as ‘Ever-Readies’ were liable to be called up for six months full-time service and identified by their arm flash which was authorised by the WODC on 15th February 1962. Photos of it being worn are few.
