Identification of collar insignia
The Canadian collar devices shown are those of the Royal Canadian Engineers;
you will notice ten (10) flames to the grenade; the Artillery has seven (7) flames; the Canada scroll indicates the badges were worn from 1914-1920; later versions of the collars dropped Canada for Ùbique. As these badge are bronzed, they are Officers kit. |

Small correction to the collar dates. They were initially authorized for the Royal Canadian Engineers in 1904.
