Lesotho ‘Police Mobile Unit’ badge?
Season’s greetings
As part of a Boxing Day ‘splurge’ on some badges I’ve been eyeing-up for a while this arrived earlier today. Am I right that it is/was used by the Royal Lesotho Mounted Police ‘Police Mobile Unit’? And where on the uniform would it be worn? It measures (w) 53 mm x 63(h) so is the right size for a cap, but a bit small for a sleeve. Many thanks for looking Graham

Hi, I agree it is an arm badge. I would say that they are an earlier and later manufacture rather than for 2 different units. Regards Andrew

Fair comment Andrew but as my other Royal Lesotho Defence Force arm badge has the same logo in it as my previous post and the one shown at Chacal's post is completely different (With a Cross? in the centre motive) I thought there may be a number of different units. Regards, David J.

Hi David, maybe a subsection of the same unit. Like medics for instance. The make up of the badge still looks like a different time period to me. Have fun. Andrew
