That was an old guys attempt at humour, I didn't miss it, I just didn't see
anything 'out of order' - in these PC times, its good that it hasn't completely
died out - especially in the forces.

ERDL , Nam Leaf was worn predominantly,

however Tigerstripe was also thrown in the mix [ i guess earlier on]

AATTV wore it a fair bit too,

i have that beret

and all the original plates from the Osprey Book,

printing doesnt do them justice,

awesome detail ,

i researched the photos for that book at AWM and through SASR ,

plates were based on observed kit combos,
i also used basis for the Statue we made for 50 th Anniversary

Default It is ERDL

Yes, the uniforms in the picture are the US ERDL, the unit wore this sort of camouflage uniform right up to the first trial patten DPDU uniforms in 1982, and then even beyond that they still wore them at times

have some Auscam Trial uniforms dated 1979 and 1981 ,
large scale trials came out in 1982 so you see loads with that date

all very rare,

gave one of our lads a 1982 Dated bush hat for his 30th last week , is in Chocos wait until the RSM sees it [ came out of an SASR trunk of gear, time capsule , thats what i tell OC Home Front, as it was packed around 12 years ago]

made by CGCF
pre ADI before the sell out
