Thumbs up 1 CDO Regt

have noticed 1 CDO Regt buying all sorts to avoid AA over last 20 years at least,
we have sold 100s of our gold plated badges to the Assn in that time,

the Regt bought 3000 of the new type
so they would have enough to gift to the Assn, [ hence we dont sell them privately, have gifted a few to close mates or members that have missed out]
many old timers are sticking to the original, i can see both sides however i am very proud to have designed the Australianised Sykes Fairbairn dagger at the request of RSM and CO , based it on Greg Steele and documented from all the reference books around to write up proposal,
now framed at RHQ.
Historically it was always meant to be Fairbairn Sykes and as the new Commando Regt , 2 CDO REGT have claimed it [ using a British one]
its only just that the original Commando Regiment claim their stake.
