Default 1950s Beret ID - dark blue with shaped green backing patch

Hello all,

I’ve picked up a 1952-dated beret which is dark blue / black with a shaped green cap badge backing patch and have drawn a blank as to which regiment / corps it belongs to. Looks like it could be an Irish unit given the shape but I’ve not found any images to solve it. Can anyone help please?
