Default royal welch fusiliers bed plate

I long wanted one of these and was pleased to pick this from ebay recently.

I assume it reads 4192143 and they were short of a proper #4, and this fits the block of numbers for the RWF. I had no idea they were so small.

4192143 Islwyn Harris, born 21st February 1915. Enlisted R.W.F. 4th April 1934, 7/5 (7 years active Service & 5 years reserve). Transferred to the Royal Armoured Corps, 21st December 1942.

I agree, these are very nice and if I ever saw one to a nurse, QA, PM, Vad, etc. I'd go for it! But probably not likely
