ROYAL ENGINEER CADETS

Thanks to Jon Mills wonderful book, "Badges on Battle Dress vol 1",
I have found out information on the 2 attached shoulder titles.
These were worn by 16 to 19 year olds prior to joining the RE or REME when they were attached to Home Guard units for military training and attending a Engineering course. Their call up was deferred while attending these course's.

Only ever seen actual examples of them in your collection Jerry. But did see the in Jon Mills book on Home Guard badges a few years ago.
