Default ONTARIO MILITARY HOSPITAL,ORPINGTON,KENT.

Hello to the Canadian members of the forum.
Not sure if you guys are aware of this bit of your canadian history.
During ww1 a hospital was built at Orpington in Kent, with canadian money for
wounded and injured Canadian soldiers brought to the uk from the western front.
Unfortunatly I have had to spend some time recently in the said hospital and could not help but notice quite a large exhibition of photo`s,plans and information boards detailing the history of the Canadian involvment with the hospital and the types of medical procedures that were carried out etc.
I think this is all due to the hospital getting the large boot [closing down[ because of government cutbacks.
I managed to blag 6 postcards as shown in the scans and if anyone would like one free of charge just pm me and I will get one off to you asap.
Regards Andy.
