Default Reference Book on CEF Badges

Canadian Collectors,
I seem(....) to be picking up more and more Canadian badges from the CEF era and wonder whether there is a better book than the Cox one for this period.
I have both the Mazeus pre-WWI and post 1920 versions but nothing other the Cox one for the WWI period itself.
Any suggestions or recommendations please?
Thanks, david

Default CEF Reference Guides/Catalogues

There are 3 volumes that immediately come to mind: Charlton's 2 catalogues, firstly for the CEF Battalions (1-260 plus some 'additional' badges) and secondly for Corps; and then there is Leonard Babin's book, most often seen as a pamphlet with a red cover. There are also other guides available but these are the ones most often used and referred to by both collectors and sellers, including auction houses. You should be aware that the prices shown in the Charlton Catalogues are a number of years out of date and can therefore only be used as guides. You'll also find, if you dig deep enough on this site, that these catalogues contain a number of errors and omissions; however, they still remain the only 'shows in town'.
