Norfolk Yeomanry or 12 Norfolks?
During WW1 the Norfolk Yeomanry were dismounted and fought on the Western Front as 12th (Norfolk Yeomanry) Bn, Norfolk Regt.
As Yeomanry in the Western Desert they had worn a pagri flash. The same design badge was subsequently worn by 12th Bn as a 'Battle Patch'. I have attached a scan of one I own, but I would like to know if both patches were the same size, or was the arm badge larger? Measured examples of those in members' collections would be appreciated. Mine measures 60x38mm. Thanks, Stephen.

I can't answer your specific question, but Beckhurst's book shows the Norfolk Yeomanry / 12th Norfolks patch with an additional white rectangular centre.
